Join the Fashion Forward Innovation

For many years, FR workwear garment styles and fits worn by industrial professionals in fields like oil & gas, utilities, steel & metalwork have remained unchanged. However, more and more modern workers are asking for protective workwear that feels more like the clothes they wear outside of work — more comfortable, more stylish, and more... them.

Next Gen Worker, Next Gen Design.

If the next generation of workers are asking for something different, why not look to the next generation of garment designers to help generate a solution?

Using a brand new, soon to launch FR stretch fabric, we’re asking student designers to leverage their creativity and problem solving skills to design and build the next big thing in workwear fashion — a new type of FR garment that finally looks and feels as well as it protects.

Let’s Make it [Work]Wear

We’re calling it the 2022 Make It [Work]Wear Fashion Challenge — a new international fashion competition that provides student designers the opportunity to reimagine, redefine and reanimate Flame Resistant (FR) Workwear.

Born out of a desire to help facilitate innovation around workwear design, we’re looking to the next generation of fashion designers to energize the industry with workwear style modern professionals want to wear.

There are innovations to be discovered at every level of the FR workwear supply chain. The Make It [Work]Wear Fashion Challenge is simply another step towards cultivating those breakthroughs that will bring out the best in the professionals on the job.
